The Player by Forward Thinking Designs is a full-featured audio player plugin for QSC Q-SYS. The Player automatically ramps audio playback in and out for smooth, natural starts and stops in your venue.

We've made the decision to release The Player free to the public. We hope it finds its way into all of your shows and projects.

Full Playback Functionality

Play and Stop commands fade with user-controlled Attack and Release parameters.
Load playlists or individual files, and shuffle, repeat, or skip.
Scrub controls to seek through a track or specify playback start points.

System Requirements

Q-SYS Core running Q-SYS v7.0.0 or later. Cores running Q-SYS v9.0 or later requires The Player to be updated to v1.1.0.

Yes. In fact, we hope you do. The Player by Forward Thinking Designs has been released as a gift to the Q-SYS community, and we want to see as many people as possible benefit from it. Your Core Locking ID can be found in Core Manager. Select the "Licensing" Tab. The Locking ID is visible under the "Core Information" heading. Click the Copy button to copy the Locking ID to your clipboard.
